the b16 was first introduced in 1953 and is made specifically for a telecaster. it has more range than a typical bigsby and with a floating bridge and the bridge pickup housed in the assembly, it creates a distinctive look and feel for your telecaster. this vibrato ships with an aluminum floating sorkin bridge that is compensated for a wound 3rd string but a plain 3rd string bridge or saddle is available. the included aluminum neck shim adds the perfect height (3/16) and pitch angle for the neck to work with the floating bridge.
